Nothing much
October 28th, 2009Well returned from Fuyucon and I have to say the event was made by the people I hung out with - no disrespect to the event itself it was fine and dandy.
I do have the inevitable con flu T_T
I received my Reina photo collection so I'm now the proud owner of a lot of Reina photos.
Work of course is work and it ticks by as can be expected in typical fashion.
I'm really geared up for the meet at the end of November.
I don't think I'm gonna get my first batch of stuff from Hellostoreusa because of the shitty post office. The second lot may not come through either. Hope they get EMS shipping at some point - royal mail is shit.
Going to Japan in December to see MM and a load of other stuff w00t, maybe that trip will be a bit more civilised then our previous visits lololololololol.
I need to play cross channel, de capo, suika, nhl 2009 and, megaten grrrr.
That is all.
Ayacon
August 17th, 2009This is a first for me, I have returned from an anime convention with nothing bad to say about it. Sure it had some problems, and times where I was bored (Sunday mostly) - but no longer being that kind of anime fan and more of a H!P fan that's to be expected.
Basically it was well run, things happened on time or close enough to make no difference.
My only regret is not going to the room run by Tasuki Daisuki, I feel guilty about that, but otherwise all awsome. I could have done with not getting my finger stood on.
However getting to meet up with Steph, Sam and, Mary was cool, although I didn't recognise Sam on Sunday until the party, that was funny.
I met alot of random people, did some stupid stuff, and generally killed time, drunk too much, and went a bit wild.
Why all the man love at the parties? Because it's funny, and because men tend not to report each other to the police lol.
Anyway, I like H!P fans, they're a nice lot in person, at least the ones that go to events and talk to other fans unlike the mad ones that live in their basements and nerdrage online.
I'll be uploading some pictures later.
Sweden Trip
May 21st, 2009So, I head off to Stockholm tommorow, it looks like as a city it may very well be the most boring city on earth and to add to that the alchole prices make London look cheap, and they don't have normal looking bars - everywhere looks like a fancy gastropub??
So it's gone from seeing Buono! to spending a weekend in a pensioners resort - I mean the number 2 attraction is the library...
So it's one of those times where we'll have to "make our own fun" not quite sure how though >.>.
Infact I'm even considering taking some of my rpg stuff it looks like the place is that exciting.
O well.
